Navy Blue is a classic and understated accent to the bride's wedding dress.  Satin, in my opinion, is an ideal fabric for a navy blue bridesmaid dress to compliment a satin wedding dress.  I find that this match has a touch of elegance and luxury.

In the instance below, taffeta is the fabric of choice.  However, satin and taffeta do look similar as both are generally made from the same material (such as silk).

Lace is truly a romantic fabric that can be applied in many ways - from formal blouses to skirts to dresses...

Let's stay with dresses.

Lace is a classic and understated fabric for wedding dresses and can accent the dress with long sleeves and a beautiful train.  Lace wedding dresses offer a sense of delicate bridal and pure femininity.  Lace wedding dresses are gorgeous whether floor length or shorter - such as for beach or destination weddings.

Lace is elegant for bridesmaid dresses with the right complimentary color.

And then there is the best dressed wedding guest.  She is plus size, but always a fashionista in search of great deals on apparel.  She hopes to be the best dressed guest without overshadowing the bride.  In her instance, the best source is Kiyonna.  Lace can be appropriate for wedding guests - as long as the dress is not white. 

If lace is the themed fabric for the bride's wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses, then I personally find lace to be acceptable for wedding guests.

Although the Mademoiselle Lace Dress is similar to the Luxe Lace Wedding Dress with scalloped lace fabric, the Pinot Noir shade will define a plus size bridesmaid's style. 

A bride and her bridal party can opt for the same fabric in the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses, so always remember to allow complimentary colors with the bridesmaid dresses.  This will allow for beautiful photos as taken by the wedding photographer.

In the case of the Mademoiselle Lace Dress being similar to the Luxe Lace Wedding Dress in design, I chose to feature the Mademoiselle for the bridesmaid specifically because this dress is versatile in wear - from formal to evening to cocktail...the Mademoiselle Lace Dress is not limited to weddings.  Oftentimes, a bridesmaid dress is set just for the wedding and may never be worn again.  I don't necessarily recommend a wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress look nearly alike, but as long as the bridesmaid dress be in a complimentary color, the bride in white will always be in focus.

As with Bridal Party in Lace, I am doing the same here - satin bridesmaid dresses to match bridal gowns in satin.  As with Bridal Party in Lace, I am further accenting a romantic deep purple shade to compliment the bride's white wedding dress.  There are two main differences between Bridal Party in Lace and Bridal Party in Satin - length and detail.
